Our CASA and Toddler programs have been thoughtfully developed over the past 32 years and continue to evolve to meet the needs of our students. At ABC Montessori, we take a balanced approach—blending the proven principles of the Montessori method with structured, traditional teaching practices, all with a strong emphasis on academic excellence. Our educators bring this approach to life by combining hands-on Montessori materials with focused instruction, workbooks, readers, and carefully selected learning resources. This integration allows us to nurture independence and curiosity while  building strong foundational skills in literacy, mathematics, and critical thinking. The result is a well-rounded, academically focused program that supports each child in reaching their full potential.

ABC Montessori’s private school in Mississauga has developed a creative early childhood curriculum that incorporates sound educational principles with an exceptional level of care in a nurturing environment. Our Pre-CASA and Toddler Montessori Daycare program offers learning centres where children can work individually or in small groups. Teacher-directed activities are balanced by ample time for exploratory play and personal discovery. Schedules are designed to balance structure and free choice, as well as active and quiet times. The Pre-CASA and Toddler program is an enhanced learning language-based curriculum that is specifically designed for the child to develop a sense of self, oral language skills, early socialization skills, basic cognitive concepts, and sensory motor skills.

At ABC Montessori, our CASA program combines the hands-on benefits of Montessori learning with a strong traditional academic foundation to create a balanced and engaging educational experience. Our academically focused curriculum places a strong emphasis on language, reading, writing, and mathematics, while also supporting the development of independence, confidence, concentration, and critical thinking skills. Students learn through a combination of Montessori materials, textbooks, workbooks, readers, structured lessons, and interactive activities that help prepare them for long-term academic success and a lifelong love of learning.

Mary Jo

“At ABC Montessori, the principles of integrity, co-operation, responsibility, and respect are modeled by teachers, emulated by students, and practiced by all. While other schools are exclusive, not recognizing the cultural and religious celebrations of its student body, ABC Montessori is inclusive in acknowledging its cultural and religious diversity. Our daughter has learned tolerance, respect, and understanding”
